Sandzile turned 2 in November 2006.  He was left in the parking lot of the hospital with a plastic bag tied around him as a nappie. After many hours of sitting alone and crying, the 7 month old baby was picked up by a boy who lives on Ward 8 and is looked after by Women Who Care,  and taken to the abandoned children's ward.  Police and hospital administrators were notified in case a family member came to look for him...no one ever did.
